The Adelphi Group takes on the Three Peaks Challenge

On Thursday 22nd August, a team from the Adelphi Group will run, walk or jog the 25 miles across 3 peaks in Yorkshire in aid of the East Cheshire Hospice, a charity located close to the Adelphi Group European head office.  The challenge is to climb the peaks of Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough in under 12 hours, and standing at 691m, 728m, and 723m respectively this will be no mean feat.

The team is comprised of representatives from businesses across the group including Adelphi Communications, Adelphi Real World, Adelphi Research and Adelphi Values.

David Harrison from the Adelphi Group said “We wanted a challenge which would appeal to a wide range of people across the group and build on the team spirit which is at the heart of Adelphi. Some of the volunteers wanted to take the challenge to the next step and plan to run the course, whilst others will take a more leisurely pace, but however it is completed, we are just pleased to be able to support the East Cheshire Hospice.”
