Sharan Randhawa
Associate Director
Sharan is an Associate Director within the Patient-Centered Outcomes team at Adelphi Values, bringing over 10 years of expertise in Clinical Outcome Assessments (COAs) and patient-centered research. She provides senior leadership in the delivery of research projects focused on the development, selection, and validation of Clinical Outcome Assessments (COAs) and inclusion of the patient voice in medical product development. Sharan provides strategic insight regarding the design and execution of studies and is experienced in a range of methodologies including literature and COA instrument reviews, qualitative content validity studies comprising concept elicitation and cognitive debriefing interviews and in-trial / exit interview studies. Sharan has also led a multi-stakeholder initiative involving the conduct of roundtable discussions focused on the optimization of patient-reported outcome (PRO) evidence in decision making across the healthcare continuum. Her experience extends across diverse therapeutic areas—including oncology, ophthalmology, dermatology, nephrology, respiratory, women’s health, neuromuscular, and rare diseases—in both adult and pediatric populations. Sharan has supported regulatory interactions, published in peer-reviewed journals, and presented findings at international conferences.
Before joining Adelphi Values, Sharan assisted in the conduct of a research project within the NHS exploring pre-operative anxiety in orthopedic patients. She holds a BSc in Psychology from Nottingham Trent University and an MSc in Health Psychology from the University of Nottingham.
