Rob has been developing and validating Patient-Reported Outcome (PRO) measures and other Clinical Outcome Assessments (COA) for clients in the pharmaceutical industry since 2002.  Over those 20+ years he’s gained a wealth of experience in a wide range of therapeutic areas and different types of PRO. Much of Rob’s measurement research has the aim of ultimately supporting FDA and EMA label claims and Rob frequently supports clients in regulatory submission and interactions.  He has particular interests and expertise in developing pediatric measures, in-trial/exit interviews and in using qualitative methods to obtain patient perspectives regarding meaningful change thresholds for COA endpoints. He has published extensively and frequently presented workshops and presentations at conferences on those topics and PROs in general.

Outside of research Rob has a love of the outdoors and enjoys running, cycling, skiing and hiking when not chasing after his two children.
