Nathan Clarke

Associate Director

Nathan leads the Psychometrics function within the Patient-Centered Outcomes team at Adelphi Values, overseeing a team of psychometricians and providing strategic and analytical leadership across a broad portfolio of projects. He specialises in the quantitative development, validation, and analysis of clinical outcome assessments, with notable experience in meaningful change threshold estimation and score interpretation to support endpoint strategies and regulatory submissions. Nathan has published across a wide range of disease areas and contributes to industry best practice as a member of SISAQOL Work Package 6 (Meaningful Change) and the ISOQOL Psychometrics SIG.

Prior to joining Adelphi Values, Nathan trained and practised as an audiologist; his clinical background continues to inform his approach to patient-centred measurement. He holds a PhD in Clinical Neuroscience from the University of Nottingham, an MSc in Psychological Research Methods and Advanced Statistics from the University of Sheffield, a first-class BSc (Hons) in Audiology from the University of Leeds, and a BSc in Music Technology from Leeds Beckett University.
