Jess Flynn

Associate Director

As an Associate Director in the Patient-Centered Outcomes team, Jess provides senior leadership and strategic expertise in the design and implementation of studies focused on developing patient-centered clinical outcome assessment (COA) measurement strategies. With extensive experience across all facets of COA selection, development, and modification, Jess is well-versed in the conduct of literature and instrument reviews, concept elicitation and cognitive debriefing interviews, in-trial and exit interviews, and psychometric validation studies. Jess has also worked in a diverse array of disease areas including oncology, gastroenterology, genetic disorders, neurodegenerative disorders, infectious diseases, allergic diseases, autoimmune diseases, and pulmonary diseases.

Jess has a particular interest in the use of qualitative methods to explore meaningful change from the patient perspective, and how data can be used to support and contextualize statistically derived meaningful change thresholds. She holds a BSc in Psychology with first-class honors from the University of Birmingham.
