Raising awareness for World Down Syndrome Day

In March, staff from across the Adelphi Group came together to support World Down Syndrome Day, and raise some much needed funds for a local charity close to our hearts, the Cheshire Downs Syndrome Support Group (CDSSG). We donned our odd socks, shared pictures on social media and each made a cash donation.  The money raised will go towards, a training course to help up to 12 families or teachers learn the latest approaches to optimise the prospects of children with Down Syndrome. CDSSG has gone from strength to strength over the years, having begun as a local support group, and is now a registered charity whose representatives recently presented at the World Down Syndrome Conference in New York in 2015.
