Adelphi Values invited to present at prominent eCOA conference
We are delighted to have recently been invited to present during the prestigious eCOA Forum Scientific Sessions which will be taking place at Oxford University, United Kingdom on 27th-29th October 2015. Hosted by CRF Health, the conference brings together some of the healthcare industry’s leading professionals and will incorporate educational presentations, workshops and discussions. It will explore the impact of technology on the healthcare industry and how it affects clinical trials and the patient experience.
Chloe Tolley, Research Manager at Adelphi Values, will be presenting a session entitled ‘Developing and evaluating electronic clinical outcome assessments (eCOAs) for use in patient populations with substantial physical or cognitive limitations’ which will be held on Tuesday 27 October 2015 at 10.00am.
During this session the challenges and concerns which arise in the developing, testing and using of eCOAs when the population is one with substantial cognitive, linguistic or physical limitations will be discussed. Potential solutions and opportunities will be considered using our experience of working with a number of patient populations including paediatrics, geriatrics, arthritis and psychiatric disorders.
Chloe leads patient-centred research projects focused on the development and validation of Clinical Outcome Assessments (COAs) and has a particular interest in evaluating the equivalence of electronic and paper COAs as well as conducting usability and feasibility testing of eCOAs in a range of patient populations.
